Vicencia & Buckley Insurance Services Inc., an independent insurance agency in La Palma, California, and celebrating its 25 year anniversary serving area businesses and residents, has adopted a family in need for the holidays.

For the sixth consecutive year, all of the Vicencia & Buckley employees have used their own personal funds to donate clothing and toys for their adopted family. The adopted family has between five and eight members and each child receives about eight gifts to open at Christmas. Their parents receive several presents to open as well. This year Vicencia & Buckley employees will also be giving towels, linen and bunk beds to their adopted family.

Vicencia & Buckley employees also prepare a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings and provide a Christmas tree with decorations. "I am very proud of all the employees at Vicencia & Buckley for their enormous generosity and thoughtfulness for these families in need" said Frank Vicencia the firm's chairman and founder.

This gift of giving is the brainchild of Laurie Vicencia-Painter and she has been the driving force in helping families in need. Vicencia & Buckley utilizes the services of agencies such as the Boys & Girls Club of Carson, Catholic Charities of Orange, Holy Family Church in Artesia and the Los Angeles County Department of Family services to locate an appropriate family.
